Objective of the role of a Manager Fundraising & Corporate Relations

Swami Amar Dev Hospital is a not for profit initiative and hence offers its facilities and services at highly subsidized rates as compared to good quality hospitals present in Gurugram and nearby regions. At present, Swami Amar Dev Hospital is unable to meet its operational expenses and is being funded by Sentiss Foundation. In order to make the Hospital self-sustaining in its operations (for providing high quality healthcare services at subsidized rates) and to cater to the future growth plans, the Hospital requires an extensive Fundraising program and social media marketing initiatives for building its brand as a not-for-profit Hospital. Also, the hospital will soon be officially renamed to SADH Care, which would again involve massive branding initiatives and awareness campaigns about the change of name.

Develop Fundraising Strategy
1. Develop a comprehensive marketing communication plan (brochures, pamphlets, slogans, etc.) to promote the hospital to its donors
2. Maximize public awareness of the fundraising activities of the hospital
3. Generate leads for donations to the Hospital researching and approaching trusts, Government agencies, corporates and other bodies
4. Collaborate with the hospital administration team to create a fundraising strategy plan which will help in meeting the operational expenses of the hospital
5. Develop a plan to help the hospital in meeting its fund requirements for expansion plans
6. Benchmark the cost of various surgeries/OPD charges of other hospitals in the nearby regions for creating suitable packages for donors
7. Create and present donation packages/proposals to leads generated
8. Managing the grant/donation application process and ensuring that reporting is tracked and meets donors' expectations
9. Developing relationships with major donors, identifying new potential major donors and nurturing relationships Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors on a database
10. Monitor and evaluate all fundraising activities to ensure that the fundraising goals are being achieved
11. Recruiting and managing volunteers for a fundraising project
12. Attending other relevant fundraising forums

Develop Marketing & Branding Strategy
1. Develop and implement a social media marketing strategy for building brand awareness and reputation of the hospital through social media
2. Primary & secondary research to identify ways of creating awareness about charitable hospitals on online platforms
3. Managing and executing the social media strategy for the hospital focusing on Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and YouTube
4. Conduct competitive analysis of social media strategy of hospitals present in Gurugram and nearby regions
5. Develop proposal for Social media SEO tactics aligned with the Hospitals mission and objectives
6. Coordinate with Swami Amar Dev Hospital website developer vendor, the President of Sentiss Pharma and hospital administration for regularly updating the website of the Hospital create and publish content to increase online presence

Skills and Qualities
Communication skills: writing dynamic funding proposals and inspiring people to commit to the cause in question
Interpersonal skills: constantly interacting with people, persuading them about the value of donating to the Hospital
Research and analytical skills: sourcing information and statistics, researching trends, assessing costs, maintaining databases and budgets
Creativity: idea generation is important for marketing communication and branding
Resilience and flexibility: constantly seeking new opportunities for generating funds
IT skills: for social media campaigns and incorporating more public interfaces online (for lead generation and long-term relationship building)

Relevant experience of at least one year in Fundraising or CSR (Corporate and/or NGOs) is a must
MBA/PGDM in HR/ Marketing/ Sales is an advantage but not mandatory

Salary: INR 8,00,000 - 10,00,000 P.A.

Pataudi, situated almost 40km away from Gurgaon, is devoid of a multi-specialty hospital to cater to the healthcare needs of the people. Swami Amar Dev Hospital was inaugurated on 31st January 2017 with a view to provide emergency and high-quality healthcare services at highly subsidized rates to the rural population in and around Pataudi, India.

With a capacity to cater to 35 in-house patients per day and state-of-the-art medical equipment, Swami Amar Dev Hospital prides itself on providing services for dental, ophthalmology, dermatology, urology, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, orthodontology & implantology and cardiology. The group of doctors also include anesthesiologist & ICU expert, radiologist, physiotherapist, ultrasound graphologist and pathologist. The Major and Minor operation theatres, 24 hours trauma & ICU, 24 hours accident emergency services, neo-natal ICU and 24 hours ultrasound and x-ray services are state-of-the-art and have been much praised by the people availing the services.
